Birthday Party

While we were in Essex this last weekend, we had another 1st birthday party for Collin. He enjoyed playing with all his cousins and they had fun helping open his gifts.

Helping Pick Apples

We took a trip this past weekend to see Grandpa Larry and Grandma June. While we were there, we went to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Bosley. Collin had a great time helping to pick apples. He enjoyed picking them up, putting them in the bucket, and then picking them back out of the bucket and throwing them. It was too cute!!

Iowa vs Iowa State

Last weekend was the in-state rivalry of Iowa vs Iowa State. We decided that we would have a little get together with some of our friends from around the Des Moines area and our friends around her. We ended up with a house full. It was a lot of fun but the wrong team won the game. Collin had a great time playing with his friends Will and Olivia.

Look Cyclone and Hawkeye fans can get along :)

Future Cyclone!!

Collin and Leah we great buddies

Collin loved the Bachi Balls. They were a little on the heavy side for him to pick up. With the help of his friend Olivia, he was able to hold it.

Don't try and kiss me!!! YUCKY!!

We want to play too!!
Too cute not to share!!

1st Birthday

Collin turned 1 year old on Tuesday. We had our good friends Kami and Brad over to help us celebrate. Collin didn't really like the cake(definitely not his mothers child in that area) but he did like to play with it. At one point, he was squishing it in his hands and started throwing it in the air. Needless to say my floor was a mess when he was done. You will notice I have no pictures of him opening his gifts. My camera went dead and our camcorder ended up not picking anything up. I was so mad at myself. Thanks to Kami we have pictures of his first birthday.

Yesterday was the start of the NFL season. Bert and Collin cheered on the Falcon's to a victory. They even took time to pose for a picture. Actually, these pictures were very hard to get. Collin doesn't have a sit in his butt and after 15 pictures two were ok. Collin has also learned to put his arms in the air when you say touchdown. It will be good for this weekend when the Cyclones get all their touchdowns to beat the Hawks!!

On the go

Collin is sooooo busy moving every chance he gets. He has gotten the walking thing down and can even stop, turn around and go again. He even tries to run to get away from me. He also loves to get into all my draws in the kitchen. His favorite is the Tupperware draws. I end up with Tupperware spread all over the kitchen.
